GENERATION OF ALTERNATING VOLTAGE:-

A machine which produce ac voltage is  Called alternator.

Principle:-            ac generator or alternator works on the principle of “faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction” it states that , when a conductor or coil is placed in changing magnetic field an electro motive force( emf) is induced in the conductor/coil.

For changing magnetic field either coil moves around the magnetic field or magnetic field moves around the conductor
